There will be limited funding available via ICES for early career scientists to attend the symposium. Preference will be given to younger people who are seeking a career in fisheries and ecosystem science and who would be keen to join the ICES system.

Applicants should have a PhD (or equivalent experience) and have either not attended an ICES expert group meeting or attended only once. Previous attendance at an ICES Annual Science Conference is considered advantageous.
